Site-directed Mutagenesis of Scl2.28 → Scl2.28(GFPGEN) Forward

The forward primer is designed to modify, via site-directed mutagenesis, the E. coli-optimized Scl2.28 sequence. The resultant sequence, Scl2.28(GFPGEN), contains a Gln → Pro mutation, a Leu → Phe mutation, and a Arg → Asn mutation, which introduce GFPGEN, an integrin-binding site, to the protein.
